Christmas time

It's almost here , Christmas , a holiday when everyone should be happy.Unfortunately that's not happening but..wait this is not cherry's blog..so forget it..

Lets be happy ..It is not only the spirit of the days but the general feeling i have that christmas in UT world should be spent in a warm and peaceful atmosphere where everyone is welcome.The only mode where noone kills noone is actually monsterhunt -but please dont shoot the cows :( ..its not funny!

So maybe this year not just bls but everyone should play a funny monsterhunt altogether!!

The time has come for a big departure...

About 1,5 years ago Lidstrom decided to make his own clan. Along with his worthy partner and friend Mc young they founded "Black Luster Soldiers".Mc had the idea of the name of the clan after a card of the famous game Yu Gi Oh.

Lid made his leadership look ideal.As time passed ,while the 2 UTers and friends saw their dream come true and BLS became more & more famous, clan got some of its best members and people ,Laz, Ciro, Christ, Kron.Together they made the clan a perfect place for fun,gaining more members and more respect!They had to turn this game of violence into a game of fun and pure competition.

Lots of people went in and out but what never left this clan is friendship..

Goodbye Zilt/ Hello `Mex!!!!

well, what can i say? Zilt chose CoD and we cant stop him. We had some great games when you were with us, but then you grew more towards them...Oh well. You will always be a great friend to us and especially LAZ ;).

Teh Absence Of Soge (For Ciro)

So far a long time ago, the Black Luster Soldiers added a strong component to our arsenal of players by the name of Sogeking...since being added he has dissapeared from existance and has yet to even show up to the forum let alone get the joy happiness of being in BLS. No one knows where he is and everyone really is worried of whats going on. If anyone sees Sogeking, please tell him to post in the forum and let him know that we have accepted him into our clan and family...until he is found and returned to us, he will be known as SogeQueen and is dating Pop :)

BLS Birthday

Well everyone its time for the BLS BIRTHDAY!!! March 13th is almost here and we are all excited to be 1 year (i think) old. We have our teams but if you want to participate in our little get together then you can ask either lid or ciro to be on their team. There will be most likely a CTF match and a BT match to see who will be crowned the best team of BLS. (and others if you decide to join). If it is tied 1-1 after both matches then we will probably settle it with a little CTF match on a great map...like BLEAK!!! :)
either way its coming up fast so if you want a spot on the team go and PM on of the two captains and beg for your place....hopefully they will be nice :)

Happy Valentine's Day pple - or should i say happy gay's day :P- anyway day of love has arrived although u wont meet love in the cruel fields of Curse and Deck 16 and even more in the -blood is all around-funnels u can still hope to meet some lovely pple playing UT .. Why not? I ve met few of them myself.. :)

Lets just say bit about love and this day..Well first of all these two are completely irrelevant so never feel unhappy or grouchy for not having someone during this day!It's just a stupid day that is being used mostly for commercial purposes and for this reason it doesnt worth causing u a bad mood..
I know it feels like u want to throw a redeemer to those who hurt u, to headshot them with the ripper -its more brutal -or to push them from Face tower so that they "leave a small crater" but its just the day that makes u feel like that and nothing more..In other days u and him/her would just be in different teams or even servers and thats it ^^!So cheer up!

Now in my clan i know there is also looooove in the air :P and i want to wish my mates happy valentine's day ,lots of kisses ,hugs and all the disgusting part xD am kidding hehe!!And for those who are "loveless" today there are always friends to have fun and there is always UT and teammates for any kind of match! Dont worry u are NOT pathetic! The day is pathetic for causing massive depression !

Expectation for n0s war has been high, but it turned out to be "low"

See their number of members? I don't even wanna count how many they have but it must be over 50. Leaders are not even included in the member list, imagine. Keep that in mind for later.

So 5 BLS showed up at the war. Me, Kr0n, Ciro, Meli and Manu.
We were ready for some 5vs5 and let's not forget, BLS has STILL been unbeatable in North America when it's 5vs5.
For 1 hour, n0s has been missing some players. So Ciro and Kr0n left.
Out of nowhere, they suggested a 3vs3 so why not?
We were in their server, so they had control. It's their territory, their own configuration, mutator, gamespeed, etc. We agreed. They chose what it seems to be a BLS's weak point in North America ---> ThornV8 map. Mutator = Respawning with shock and sniper full ammo.
The whole n0s was sniping and it was so annoying. We hardly could even cap, we almost capped 3 more flags but we only did one cap (by myself) with good cover from Meli and I think Manu was positioning himself to protect me from sniper bullets. They were lucky to save/steal away 3 caps from us.
Well, we lost. Why not accepting a 3vs3 lost in a map we dislike (and as the other clan's favorite map) in their own server?
Then it was time for BLS map right after. Less Bleak, of course. Two quick caps and they're starting to leave. Later, one of them came back and said sorry because he got disconnected. Well we're sorry ourselves too but it's part of the war (just like when my UT crashed in LB war which led them to 1 and only cap for LB in the war). A clan is responsible to bring a back up player just in case such thing happen. With over 50 members against BLS which only has less than 20 members, there has to be no excuse. We consider it a victory by forfeit. After having 1 hour of patience to make a 5vs5 war, we gotta take it. Or else I could have disconnected myself from the first game to cancel that lost. We play with honor!

My Blogger Beginning :)

This is kr0n here with the beginning of a great blogger era. I am SOOO happy to be able to contribute to the greatest blog in the world :P. I promise not to put anything you guys wouldnt like such as...KRON IS BETTER THAN EVERYONE AT EVERYTHING...even if it IS true :). I usually am in most wars we have had lately so i could be able to talk about them...people can also send me the PM of their description of war if lid is not available. I think this was a great idea by Lid to add more people and im glad he choose me :).

Now here are my 5 ways to get a good side on this clan.

1.) Dont be Polak

2.) Dont do noob habits on ND like double jump or spam

3.) Dont hate on our girls (Melissa and Ch3rry)

4.) Learn to love the game for fun, not for competition.

5.) Be friendly in games to us and everyone..no matter the server or the situation. Problems have a way of solving themselves.

6.) (One Extra) Be a good role model to the more....colorful players that like to spam and curse and get mad at everything. When you can do that...you can be like us :)

Those are my ways to get on our good side...follow those and you can be one of us...well maybe :P

And here i am making my first shot as a blog writer !!! Lid trusted me on this and am so glad ! Now my aim is to make him and my m8s satisfied and proud also ^^ .. It is already said that this clan is about a team with friendly spirit and energy but also deadly when it comes to wars -especially at North America .



This combo can only lead to victory and if not victory at once then always a step forward for our team play .What i appreciated most in this clan as a member -or not- is the continious happy mood that rules in every post ,every thread ,every game and every war! Noone gets grouchy and noone gets mean to eachother! Thats what i call true bonds! Congradulations for ur team spirit!!!You achieved to gain a really nice thing through a pure violent game!Hurray!



In order to join the BLS clan you have to :

ClanWar IFN Screenshots

I was absent during the war, so no Lidstrom. Manu came to be my replacement though!

First game was 8-8. Not 9-8 like in the screenshot, because the mapvote window popped out when it was 8-8 and the time was over. BLS thought it was over, while IFN was closing that window to cap the last one. That's why you can see the complaints from BLS in the screenshot. We've come to an official agreement that this was a tie 8-8 because it was on IFN server and BLS had no clue how it worked.
- - - Let's not forget that we've let ZILTOID (Our apprentice) play against IFN!
Then p0p joined to replace Ziltoid. With a comeback from 3-6 to 8-8.


This is where the full BLS squad performs at its best. LESS BLEAK map again!


Last game, Facing World. THAT is the map where I've trained the most recently on TS server so I regret not being there. I would SURELY put more impact in that game. But it doesn't matter, BLS still won!

Super updates! + War results

SogeKing had a major fight with the LB clan. We all don't know what the reason was but he disappeared before knowing that he was a BLS. Someone has to find him! He is also our last player for the West BLS section. European section still has very few places available especially now that Anonymous is out of BLS.
MC also returned among us as the 2nd in command (back to his post).

The importance of SogeKing in BLS is that he's another key player for West BLS section (North American). Among freelancers (and defenders) like p0p, kr0n, myself and meli.

After having Meli with us, we have started to become very active in wars.
I came back from some huge busy months without playing UT. No warm up or training or anything, I was already starting in a war as my first UT game for my return. It was a way to celebrate the Christmas break!

We had Meli, Kr0n, P0p, a rusty me, and a lightning Laz!
What I meant by lightning Laz is that he's responsible of all caps! Great attacker! No giving up! Look at the number of grabs!


Man, am I not rusty... HAHA... It doesn't matter, we won and great job from our key players!
Melissa has always been the biggest impact in the war!



But then for the 3rd and last game, she had to leave, along with p0p, leaving us a 4vs5. Pressure was on me, kr0n, laz and zilt the BLS apprentice. Ziltoid had to go in and show what he's got.


Rematch? Only 2 games. We were tired, and we were playing without Laz and Meli this time.
It was me, our apprentice Zilt, p0p, kr0n and Ciro! Ciro was there as replacement in attack. But nowhere near Laz, but Zilt is known as Mini-Laz.



Then, we had a war with LB. Too easy for us. 4vs4:




Here's a text from Kr0n about the war against LB:

BLS win the whole game 3-0
1st match 5-0; map incinerator; 3v3; A little bit TOO easy...kinda like all the matches BLS has played so far. We won with no problem as Melissa grabbed flag easily and with great covers from Kr0n and great defense from p0p capped in no time. P0p allowed barely any grabs this match and showed off his great defensive skills :P. Kron just flew around with whatever gun was possible looking for someone to kill...mainly Soge :D. They had one attacker who kept lagging and was a little harder to catch. Oh well. We still won easy.

2st match; 5-1; map thorns; 4v4; This match had a little more competition and took a little longer. Still again was easy as can be. WE HAD LIDSTROM FOR THIS MATCH!!!...Until he had a technical difficulty..then in came the savior ZILTOID! Ziltoid had a wonderful performance as he capped 2 times and had 2 assists finished off by Kr0n. With more great defense from p0p sniping peoples heads off with that deadly sniper, they only managed to luckily score once by Soge. Melissa did wonderful again in this game attacking and being a killing machine....being a killing machine was also Kr0ns job as he had many covers and 17!! flag kills. another great performance from BLS and another great win. Sorry that Lid had that problem :P Oh well.

3st match; 5-0; map bleak; 5v5 (finally); The final match was ended with a big bang as we finally had our 5v5 that we have been waiting for. Our lineup of Ciro, Ziltoid, Kr0n, P0p, and Lidstrom did wonders as we demolished them. The only grab they really had was before the game even started and even that one didnt even leave 5 inches of the flag area. We could tell how much an impact Lid really is in games as we shut them down with his help...Zil had another great game getting atleast one cap as usual and doing a great job killing. P0p showed he really is a defender worthy of BLS with this performance not allowing a single capture in 2 of 3 matches. With Ciro attacking, we all knew we would eventually win..since he is such a deadly attacker. But with him AND ziltoid, we had this thing wrapped up in about 7 minutes. GREAT JOB BLS!!!!!!!!!!

In Conclusion......We kicked their asses with authority.

The TR-Sith war, I have nothing to add. Look at the scoreboard on the right of the blog. We lost in a map we didn't even know, 1-7. At least we played until the war is over. 2nd game, we destroyed them 10-1 and there was about 10 minutes left from the game. FORFEIT. We ended up with a tie because there was only 2 games.

As for the war against IFN, no BLS leader was in charge. A last minute war dealt by Ciro:


We will have to face them again in the incoming weekend. This time, with me in charge of the BLS squad.

The comeback, the impact, the changes, 2nd generation BLS!

The old BLS rumor has come back! Yes it's THAT girl! She was among the original BLS long time ago! Who else but Melissa! We've never done a war with her though, not until the Chr1stmas break has started! And we've maintained the "perfect" stats of war victory ever since then, with or without her in the line up.
But before the war, the 2nd leader of BLS had to leave the clan for some reasons that will stay between him and BLS only. Laz is taking up the role (of being the 2nd leader), especially for European section.

Later on, we've had Ziltoid, a very important prospect who is trained to become a fast attacker like Laz. He's also an energetic person who will give momentum to BLS. He's funny and friendly. Most importantly, faithful. Even though he's just a BLS prospect at the moment, he's been used in wars many times to boost his confidence in the clan (and have more experiences with the team). He's been called "mini-laz" as he's trained by Laz to be the same type of attacker. He's really not an individualist type of player though. He just fits well with the BLS team. He has been doing a great job so far! Good work!

After 3 wars (2 with HKL, 1 with LB), Ciro and Melissa have talked about someone who's been friendly with all of us from the beginning. Another person who will bring happiness and moral boost to BLS. That is absolutely important! Let me introduce you, another female, Ch3rry!!!

As you can see, it's the new type of BLS. It's not about having more skills only, but having people who could help to bring more life to BLS! :) That's important!
